Street artist Glod wins NFT Project of the Year 2022 award

Marcin Glod convinces with his NFT art project “Crypto Panther Club” and receives the award “NFT Project of the Year 2022”. American rapper Akon is delighted with the success.

Non-fungible tokens, NFTs for short, have been trading for thousands of euros since 2017. The artwork “The first 5000 Days” by the American artist mike winkelman was sold in 2021 for a whopping US$69.3 million and is now considered the most expensive NFT artwork sold. Austrian artists have also already arrived in the NFT world: 2021 the Viennese artist is calling Marcin Glod launched the “Crypto Panther Club” and quickly won the coveted “NFT Project of the Year 2022” title at the Asia Investment & Banking Conference (AIBC Asia) awards ceremony in Dubai (UAE) with its first project NFT. As part of AIBC Asia 2022, which attracted well-known tech luminaries to the Middle Eastern metropolis from March 20-23, 2022, Glod showcased its exclusive “Crypto Panther Club”. American rap legend and co-founder of cryptocurrency “Akoin” Akon congratulated the Viennese artist and strives to establish a joint collaboration in the future.

The Crypto Panther Club

The club holds a collection of 5,555 unique 2D NFT artworks, the central motif of which is a panther, which has almost become Glod’s trademark. No “Crypto-Panther” is like the other. Each version differs in background, color, clothing, headgear, accessories, and tattoo. The “Crypto Panther” is also an entrance ticket to the club, which offers a variety of “real benefits” to its members. Among other things, they have the chance to win works of art by Glod and Banksy worth a total of more than 300,000 euros, to receive invitations to exclusive parties in villas with star DJs in destinations of popular parties such as Ibiza (Spain), Los Angeles (USA) and Dubai (UAE) and VIP entry to all “Crypto Panther Club” art exhibitions as well as the possibility of attending private dinners with artists. Going forward, members will also decide which charities and nonprofits the club will donate a portion of the profits to.

Even before the official launch, the “Crypto Panther Club” already had about 2,000 members. Interested parties can pre-register on the club’s Discord forum, where they will receive information and updates on the launch and will also have the option to be whitelisted. It guarantees 555 NFT enthusiasts priority and advance purchase of Glod’s NFT artwork.
