In view of the war in Ukraine, Edition bi:libri, Hueber and NordSüd want to support refugee children. The Picture Book”Little polar bear – Where are you going, Lars? will be published in a bilingual edition from June 17 German and Ukrainian. 2,000 books will be distributed through the bookstore. Distribution takes place via the intermediate book trade (Umbreit and Zeitfracht). Bookstores can proactively collect copies from the donation and distribute them locally at their discretion.

Lars, the little polar bear, lives at the North Pole in the middle of ice and snow. One day, Lars is swept away on an ice floe and finds himself far from his home in the tropics. There he discovers the most unusual plants and animals. Lars befriends Hippo, a friendly hippopotamus. But soon the little polar bear is homesick for his white house. Fortunately, his new friends help him and Lars sets out on the long journey back to the North Pole.
